Behind all of our great work is a team of exceptional, energetic and entrepreneurial people who together produce some of the finest award-winning custom media programs. How do we do it? We rely on each other's areas of expertise, industry knowledge, and ...frankly, we enjoy working with each other.
While we are serious about what we do -- developing, creating, and delivering the best custom media programs to improve our clients' marketing and brand awareness -- we also understand the need for laughter. Famous American lawyer Clarence Darrow once said, "If you lose the power to laugh, you lose the power to think." Being able to laugh with -- and at -- each other fosters camaraderie, and empowers every member of our team to think, create and deliver on our brand promise. Terrence Grogan

Terrence is responsible for building and maintaining internal and external relationships with clients across all divisions of Penton Media and managing the overall sales and marketing strategy for the Custom Media Division. Terrence has over 17 years of experience ranging from in-person communications to strategic marketing media. His career has included sales, marketing, operations and executive management and served as President/CEO of Professional Trade Shows, a former Penton company (between 1999 and 2003). Terrence is able to leverage his extensive experience to work with clients to identify, develop and implement the most highly effective and innovative media solutions.
Jason Meyers

Jason Meyers oversees content development and design and helps maintain the editorial excellence of all Penton Custom Media products. Meyers has 15 years of B-to-B media experience, most recently as director of content development for Penton Media's Telephony, the leading B-to-B publication for the telecom and wireless industries. In that role he was responsible for overseeing custom media efforts, webcasts, live events and other special projects for the Telephony audience. Meyers was editor-in-chief of Telephony and Wireless Review from 1999 to 2006. He joined the staff of Telephony as an assistant editor and covered all aspects of the telecom industry in a variety of editorial positions. He has a BA in journalism from Michigan State University.

Tom Corcoran is Senior Director of Sales for Penton Custom Media, as well as Managing Director of Integrated Publishing Sales. Tom most recently served as president of custom publishing for The Magazine Group in Washington DC. He has been in magazine publishing for over 25 years, recently as president of Adams/Huebcore Business Media in Cleveland, Ohio, a publisher of 57 business to business magazines. He served on the publishing board of directors for BPA, the auditing organization used by most business-to-business magazines, as well as on the board of American Business Media, the member organization of the B2B publishing industry. He is actively involved in the Society of National Association Publications through Penton Custom Media.

Michael brings more than 15 years of editorial, marketing and public relations experience to Penton Custom Media, which he leverages to establish a high level of editorial excellence among the various innovative media products offered to Penton’s customers. Prior to joining Penton Custom Media earlier this year, Michael spent the last several years in marketing with University Circle Incorporated, a non-profit organization representing the interests of University Circle – Cleveland’s cultural, educational and medical district. In this capacity, Michael was instrumental in the success of many popular community events, publications and collaborative initiatives. He has also been a senior writer for a Cleveland public relations agency and spent nearly 10 years as an editor for several B2B publications, including The Motion Systems Distributor and Forging magazines.

Tim is responsible for all of Penton Custom Media’s eMedia projects, including complete turnkey project management of all webcasts. Since joining Penton Custom Media in 2003, Tim has completed hundreds of successful webcasts, many of which incorporated streaming audio, live computer demonstrations and on-demand streaming video. In addition, Tim is responsible for producing Penton Custom Media's Web Expos and Conferences. He has also managed the award-winning eNewsletter for Microsoft Business Solutions, produced a series of live streaming video webcasts of actual medical operations on behalf of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, and serves as a technical adviser on other Penton eMedia projects. Tim is currently producing a custom Web Expo and Conference in conjunction with Penton’s Occupational Hazards magazine. His impressive background includes more than 15 years IT experience with Penton Media, including serving as a senior program analyst and manager of sales force automation.
Lynn Adelmund

Lynn's 23-year career has been in the field of marketing research and consulting. During her 17 years with Penton Media's Research department, she has directed the research programs for company properties as well as for advertisers and agency counterparts, and other organizations interested in keeping up with industries served by Penton Media. She has also spearheaded the department's new product development program and customer satisfaction efforts. As Department Director, she oversees the company's research policies, procedures and methodologies for a team of professional researchers who, collectively, conduct more than 250 primary projects each year.
Prior to Penton Media, Lynn worked for a Kansas City-based marketing research consulting firm. Clients included Fortune 500 companies in both consumer and business-to-business markets. She began her career with AC Nielsen marketing research. She holds a BA in Marketing and Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.
